[Update:] As of 5/18/09 - 11:30AM - I'm Officially Done with Nursing School!

RN School is by far one of the best learning experiences of my life ... This is how I found out who's true and real, who's there for me and cares for me and supports me when times get tough. Im forever thankful for all the patience, understanding and support of those who stuck by me through out this ride.

Hi. This is Hana. My new BFF school mate. She's really cool. LoL. I wish Roxy was in our group too. At least my other friend Jessica and Jay is in my new group. This group rocks! but the teacher ... uh iuno ... strict ... CCRMC is a nice hospital. This semester was also stressful for me. I had to get all of my shit out of the apt. My sister and her family decided they're going to PI to finish up the nursing course she started before. My mom is short selling the house that's under my name. I just recently had surgery on my right soft palate from a lump that I found "during" my head and neck cancer lecture. I researched and was so freaked out. I am so thankful that I just had insurance and my doctor referred me to Head and Neck Surgeon and the surgeon said we'll remove it. So I had to wait a week for the scheduled surgery. I was hella freakin out while waiting so I went to another surgeon for a second opinion and asked for FNA and thank god after 3 days the surgeon called and said it was benign. I really felt like I was going to die. I failed my exams and was just falling apart inside. I was so fucking stressed out about school, move out, family, etc. Thank God there's people that support me otherwise I would have broke down and just gave up. My surgery was successful, but for 3 weeks I couldn't eat but just drink, and for a week, I was retarded. The stitches came off and there was a hole on my soft palate and fluids and food came out of my nose when I eat sometimes. It was gross. But thank god it was finally healed and closed now. Halleluer! I just passed my 5th exam and I'm still happy even though I did not get the B that I wanted for cushion. But I think 66/100 on Finals is doable. Right after my exam, I was so excited, I bought my cap and gown already. LoL. Hopefully the song that I chose for our pinning will get picked (Time of My Life by David Cook) My preceptorship is at CCRMC and its 10 Hours Graveyard shift. Yikes! But they're cool. Mostly Filipino and the charge nurse always brings hella food for everyone like hella food ... Im excited for Pinning, Graduation, ACLS Class, Boards, Cruise, England, Italy, Rome all these places that I've always wanted to go to ... No more stress! I just hope I find a job here in the Bay Area coz Ive heard its though for new grad nurses to find a new grad program. Ill just take it one step at a time ... Movin on up ...

3rd Semester - 2nd Rotation - 12/2008

This rotation was the hardest for me. I had so much drama and so much on my mind. I don't want to talk about it. This semester was the toughest out of all the semesters. Everyone fails on their exams, but they always give points back compared to the other 3 semesters where you get lucky if you even get one point back. The exams on this semesters are very hard and they give hella points back after. Anyway, I failed this semester. I was 6 points short on passing. I've never been so lost, confused, hurt, sad, angry, dissapointed, worried, freaked out, stressed etc. in my life during theses time. To cut the story short, about 10  people did not pass and needed 6-8 points to pass, so they gave it to us. I was so happy I will get to move on the last semester. I had to leave my other group because me and my friend Roxy had to be split coz' we pissed off our instructors for CC our nursing director on our one of our questions. They didnt like that so we got yelled at and split. Toward the end tho the professor apologized so it's all good. All I cared about is that I made it through this rotation with everything that happened to me. I stayed quiet even though alot of the shit going around arent true and I was coming out as the bad person, but anyway. This semester is over ... Movin on up ...
